Assistant Vice President (AVP) .NET Development Location: MumbaiExperience: 10+ Years Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Assistant Vice President (AVP) .NET Development to lead the design, development, modernization, and support of enterprise-scale applications built on the Microsoft technology stack. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, proven leadership experience, and the ability to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions while managing cross-functional development teams. Key Responsibilities Lead the architecture, development, and modernization of enterprise .NET applications. Drive technology initiatives involving .NET 8+, ASP.NET Core, Microservices, Azure Cloud, and REST APIs. Manage end-to-end software delivery, including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support. Mentor and lead engineering teams, ensuring high coding standards and best practices. Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Ensure adherence to Agile, SDLC, DevOps, security, and governance standards. Required Skills C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, .NET Framework, .NET 8+ Microservices, REST APIs, Entity Framework / EF Core Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Performance Tuning Docker & Kubernetes (preferred) OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect, LDAP/Active Directory Clean Architecture, DDD, SOLID Principles, Design Patterns Preferred Experience 1015+ years of software development experience with 5+ years in a technical leadership role. Proven experience leading enterprise-scale .NET application development teams. Strong exposure to cloud migration, application modernization, and distributed systems. Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Capital Markets, or other regulated industries will be an added advantage. .
