Software Engineer Data platform 2 -4 Years

About the Role We are looking for a Software Engineer, Data Platform to join our Data Intelligence Hub (DIH). In this role, you won't just be building traditional ETL or BI-focused pipelines; you will be developing the next-generation Industrial Data Intelligence platform. You will build production-grade data services and intensive software systems that serve as a contextual layer connecting machine health, operational, and enterprise data on top of a site Digital Twin backbone. Your work will directly power agentic, AI-native experiences that help global users explore sites, answer complex questions, and make real-time decisions. Location: Bangalore Experience: 2 -4 years Mode of work :Hybrid What Youll Do Build Production Data Systems: Design end-to-end data flows from raw event ingestion through durable storage to model context across machines, factories, sensors, and tenants. Write Clean Software: Build maintainable Python services with a strong separation of concerns, robust automated testing (unit/integration), and high observability. Advance Streaming & Lakehouse Architectures: Evolve streaming-first architectures utilizing modern messaging (e.g., Kafka, Pub/Sub) and lakehouse technologies. Power AI-Native Experiences: Partner with AI and platform teams to build context graphs and APIs that allow AI agents and users to explore industrial sites and make real-time decisions. What Were Looking For Experience: 4+ years of professional backend software development or data-intensive application engineering in production environments. Core Tech Stack: Strong software engineering experience in Python, robust SQL, and data modeling. Pipeline Expertise: Proven track record building reliable, incremental pipelines that handle deduplication, watermarking, and late-arriving data. Cloud & Data Ecosystems: Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern lakehouse tech (e.g., Databricks, Delta Lake, Spark, BigQuery). Streaming: Practical experience with event-driven systems like Kafka, Pub/Sub, or similar. Education: Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. .
