Lead Consultant-Consulting, Band 4APosition TypeFull TimeRequired SkillsPrimary- Business Analyst in the insurance domain, preferably with Employer Stop Loss (ESL) under Accident and Health.Secondary- Robust understanding of technical architecture, system integration, and API interactions. Detailed Requirements Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements for A&H; insurance products. Work closely with the technical team to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical implementation. Understand and interpret technical architecture, system design, and integration requirements. Facilitate discussions between business users, IT teams, and other stakeholders to ensure clarity and completeness of requirements. Define and document user stories, process flows, and system interactions. Participate in solution design discussions and provide insights into business needs and feasibility. Support the development and testing teams by clarifying requirements, validating solutions, and ensuring business objectives are met. Assist in the development of test plans, test cases, and user acceptance testing (UAT) strategies. Identify and document gaps in existing systems and propose enhancements or new solutions. Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies relevant to A&H; insurance. Requirements 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance domain, preferably with A&H; insurance experience. Strong understanding of technical architecture, system integration, and API interactions. Ability to comprehend and articulate technical implementation details and their impact on business processes. Experience working in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools. Excellent documentation skills, including creating BRDs, FSDs, user stories, and process flow diagrams. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams. Good to have- Knowledge of cloud-based solutions, microservices, and enterprise application architecture is a plus. Prior experience working with policy administration systems, claims processing, or underwriting platforms is an advantage.
