Responsibilities - Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, SMEs, QA teams, data engineers, and technology teams to gather and analyze business requirements. - Conduct requirements workshops and document business and functional requirements. - Create BRDs, FRDs, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Process Flows, and Functional Specifications. - Analyze insurance business processes across Policy Administration, Claims Management, and Underwriting functions. - Perform gap analysis, impact analysis, and identify business improvement opportunities. - Translate business requirements into scalable and effective technology solutions. - Support source-to-target mappings, interface mapping, data dictionaries, and data validation exercises. - Utilize SQL for data analysis, reconciliation, and data validation activities. - Work closely with data engineering and development teams to define business rules and transformation logic. - Participate in SIT, UAT, defect triage, release validation, and post-implementation support. - Facilitate requirement walkthroughs, stakeholder sign-offs, and backlog refinement sessions. - Support modernization, migration, reporting, and insurance transformation initiatives. - Work within Agile delivery environments supporting sprint planning, retrospectives, and project delivery activities. - Serve as a functional SME ensuring business requirements are accurately captured and delivered. Requirements - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline. - 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, System Analyst, or Data Analyst. - Minimum 2-3 years of Insurance domain experience. - Robust exposure to Policy Administration, Claims Management, and Underwriting processes. - Experience in Requirement Gathering, Stakeholder Management, and Functional Analysis. - Strong expertise in BRD, FRD, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and Process Documentation. - Hands-on experience with SQL for Data Analysis and Validation. - Experience with Source-to-Target Mapping, Interface Mapping, and Data Reconciliation. - Exposure to Insurance Data Migration, Modernization, or Transformation projects is preferred. - Experience supporting SIT, UAT, and Release Validation activities. - Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and delivery frameworks. - Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing setting.
