Head Department Civil- Belgaum

Role & responsibilities •Plan, monitor, and control project activities for the Plant and Colony. • Prepare and manage CAPEX budgets for projects. Obtain CAPEX approvals and ensure effective execution of approved projects in the Plant and Colony. • Plan and execute site modifications based on operational and business requirements. • Lead debottlenecking projects and ensure their timely completion. Implement effective systems and controls to enhance operational efficiency. • Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) standards and all applicable statutory requirements. Coordinate and ensure successful completion of IMS and EMS internal and external audits. • Develop and maintain greenery and landscaping across the Plant and Colony. Manage the construction and maintenance of railway siding infrastructure. • Oversee the construction and maintenance of educational institution facilities. Provide civil engineering and infrastructure support to Plant, Colony, and Mining operations. • Support Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and related infrastructure projects. Ensure uninterrupted water supply systems for the Plant and Colony. •Build and develop a high-performing Civil team through succession planning, competency development, and leadership grooming. Manage contractor/vendor billing and related transactions through the SAP system. • Review engineering drawings and ensure timely rectification of discrepancies. Ensure the availability of required materials, equipment, and machinery for project execution. •Coordinate effectively with vendors, contractors, and internal staff for smooth project implementation. Identify departmental training needs (TNI) and facilitate capability development programs.
