Head of Mechanical Design and Engineering

Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise the mechanical design team (20–50 members) focused on automation and robotics solutions Manage the creation of detailed mechanical assembly and fabrication drawings , ensuring compliance with industry standards Coordinate cross-functionally with marketing, robotics, and industrial design teams to align design outputs with product and market requirements Oversee and improve design workflows using Value Engineering principles to optimize cost, quality, and functionality Drive external vendor relationships and support sourcing by establishing connections with manufacturers and fabrication partners Lead internal Finite Element Analysis (FEA) efforts using computer modeling tools (e.g., ANSYS, SolidWorks Simulation) Monitor project timelines, allocate resources, and ensure delivery of high-quality engineering outputs Mentor and train junior engineers to build technical capabilities across the team Contribute to strategic design planning and the continual improvement of engineering standards and toolsets
