Head of Mechanical Design and Engineering

As a Mechanical Design Team Lead in our company, you will have the following responsibilities: - Lead and supervise a team of 20-50 members focusing on automation and robotics solutions - Manage the creation of detailed mechanical assembly and fabrication drawings to ensure compliance with industry standards - Coordinate cross-functionally with marketing, robotics, and industrial design teams to align design outputs with product and market requirements - Oversee and enhance design workflows using Value Engineering principles to optimize cost, quality, and functionality - Establish and maintain external vendor relationships to support sourcing by connecting with manufacturers and fabrication partners - Conduct internal Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using computer modeling tools such as ANSYS and SolidWorks Simulation - Monitor project timelines, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure the delivery of high-quality engineering outputs - Mentor and train junior engineers to enhance technical capabilities within the team - Contribute to strategic design planning and the continuous improvement of engineering standards and toolsets Additionally, if there are any additional details about the company in the job description, please provide them.
