Software Engineer - Data Science & AI Engineering

Eficens Systems Inc is looking for a mid-to-senior level Data Scientist / AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy intelligent solutions across enterprise use cases. This role requires hands-on expertise in machine learning, LLMs, MLOps, AIOps, and generative AI technologies including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and agentic AI workflows. You will work in cross-functional teams to bring data products from experimentation to scalable deployment. Build, train, and evaluate machine learning models using Python (scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, PyTorch). Fine-tune and deploy LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, LLaMA, Mistral) for domain-specific use cases. Architect and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate). Design autonomous workflows using agentic frameworks such as LangChain Agents, CrewAI, or AutoGPT. Collaborate with data engineers to build and manage feature pipelines. Implement MLOps practices using MLflow, DVC, Vertex AI, or SageMaker. Contribute to AIOps solutions for anomaly detection, observability, and incident prediction in IT operations. Use APIs, RESTful services, and event-driven architectures for real-time model consumption. Develop dashboards and decision support tools using Streamlit, Dash, or Power BI. Communicate insights and present prototypes to both technical and business stakeholders. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any STEM or related discipline including Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or equivalent. 2+ years of experience in ML model development, validation, and deployment. Proficient in Python, SQL, Jupyter, Git, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex). Familiarity with vector stores, embedding generation, and semantic search. Strong grasp of CI/CD and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) for AI workflows.
