About the role
Job Description About the Role: We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team. The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software products through planning and executing test cases, identifying bugs, and collaborating with developers to deliver a flawless user experience. This role is critical in maintaining the reliability and performance of our applications.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute manual test cases based on product requirements and technical specifications. Identify, record, document, and track software defects. Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other QA team members to understand requirements and resolve issues. Perform regression, functional, security, and performance testing. Continuously suggest improvements to our QA processes and tools. Evaluate and research automation tools and frameworks to determine the best fit for project and organizational needs. Design and execute Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives to validate the feasibility and effectiveness of automation solutions. Build and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable test automation frameworks from scratch.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field 2+ years of experience in QA engineering or software testing Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes Experience with manual and automation testing Familiarity with tools such as Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, Postman, Jenkins, or similar Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies Strong communication and collaboration abilities
