Software Engineer (.NET & SRE) UST

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru, focusing on the intersection of full-stack development and Site Reliability Engineering. You will play a critical role in building robust, scalable applications and ensuring the high availability of our cloud infrastructure, directly contributing to our mission of creating safer work environments through innovative technology. Key Deliverables Design, develop, and maintain high-performance UIs and APIs using Next.js, .NET, C#, and Entity Framework. Implement and manage AWS services including EC2, Lambda, S3, and RDS to support scalable application deployment. Apply SRE principles to enhance system reliability through proactive monitoring, incident response, and capacity planning. Automate operational processes and streamline CI/CD pipelines to facilitate seamless, high-quality software delivery. Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to ensure consistent environment management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects and product managers, to troubleshoot performance issues and optimize cloud resource utilization. Essential Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 6+ years of professional experience in software development, with full stack experience using Next.js and .NET C#. Extensive experience with AWS services and solutions. Solid understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices and principles. Proficiency in DevOps methodologies, including CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to incident management. Preferred Qualifications AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Developer, or DevOps Engineer certification. Experience in CloudOps practices and cloud cost management. Proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
