The Large Language Model LLM Engineering Internship is one of EduRankAI's flagship deeptechnology programmes designed for exceptionally talented engineers and researchers who aspire to build foundation models rather than simply integrate existing AI services. Interns will participate in the complete lifecycle of LLM developmentfrom largescale data engineering, tokenization, distributed training, transformer architecture implementation, optimization, evaluation, reinforcement learning, inference engineering, RetrievalAugmented Generation RAG, multimodal intelligence, AI safety, and model deployment to productionscale AI platforms. Depending on project requirements, interns may contribute to proprietary foundation models, multilingual LLMs, reasoning models, AI agents, autonomous systems, AI infrastructure, distributed GPU computing platforms, model serving systems, and nextgeneration intelligent software platforms. This internship is intended for individuals who enjoy solving exceptionally difficult engineering and scientific problems while building technologies capable of serving millions of users. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, train, finetune, evaluate, and optimize Large Language Models and foundation models. Build scalable datasets through collection, preprocessing, cleaning, tokenization, and quality validation. Develop transformer architectures, neural network modules, attention mechanisms, and optimization strategies. Build and optimize distributed GPU training pipelines for largescale AI models. Develop RetrievalAugmented Generation RAG pipelines and enterprise knowledge systems. Design and implement AI agents, reasoning systems, planning systems, and autonomous workflows. Build multimodal AI systems integrating text, images, audio, video, and structured knowledge. Optimize model inference, latency, throughput, memory utilization, and deployment efficiency. Develop evaluation frameworks, benchmarking systems, and automated testing pipelines. Contribute to AI alignment, safety, interpretability, and responsible AI research. Build APIs, SDKs, AI platforms, inference services, and developer tools. Collaborate with software engineers, systems engineers, AI researchers, mathematicians, and platform architects. Prepare engineering documentation, research reports, design specifications, and technical publications. Perform additional engineering and research assignments as required. EduRankAI believes exceptional talent deserves exceptional recognition and compensation. Interns who consistently demonstrate outstanding technical excellence, exceptional programming ability, advanced mathematical aptitude, engineering innovation, and significant contributions to the organization's research and technology initiatives may be awarded a performancebased stipend of up to 250,000 INR Two Lakh Fifty Thousand per month. By accepting this internship, candidates acknowledge and agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. ## 1. Internship Structure * Internship Type: Full-Time * Duration: 8 Months * Working Days: 7 Days per Week * Total Daily Engagement: Approximately 13 Hours Per Day, comprising: * 10 Hours dedicated to engineering, research, product development, technical learning, and organizational responsibilities. * 3 Additional Hours dedicated to structured physical fitness, health, nutrition, mental well-being, and holistic personal development. * Total Weekly Engagement: Approximately 91 Hours Per Week. * Estimated Programme Engagement: Approximately 2,900+ Hours over the duration of the internship. The internship is designed as an intensive professional development programme that combines technical excellence with long-term physical, mental, and professional growth. --- ## 2. Technical Responsibilities Interns are expected to devote approximately 10 hours each day to technical, engineering, research, and organizational responsibilities, including but not limited to: * Software engineering and enterprise application development. * Large Language Model (LLM) research and engineering. * Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning. * Agentic AI, AI Infrastructure, AGI, ASI, and Quantum AI research. * System architecture and distributed systems engineering. * Programming, debugging, testing, optimization, and code reviews. * Technical documentation, engineering specifications, and research reports. * Research experimentation, benchmarking, and validation. * Design reviews, technical discussions, seminars, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions. * Product development, innovation initiatives, milestone delivery, and cross-functional collaboration. * Any additional technical, engineering, research, or organizational responsibilities assigned by EduRankAI. Interns are expected to consistently deliver high-quality, production-grade work while adhering to organizational engineering standards and research methodologies. --- ## 3. Holistic Health, Fitness & Personal Development EduRankAI believes that exceptional engineers are developed through continuous improvement of both technical capability and personal well-being. Accordingly, interns are required to dedicate an additional 3 hours per day to structured activities focused on physical, mental, and professional development, including: * Physical fitness programmes. * Strength, endurance, flexibility, and mobility training. * Sports and recreational activities. * Mindfulness, meditation, and stress management. * Nutrition planning and adherence to healthy dietary practices. * Reading, reflective learning, and continuous self-development. * Leadership development and communication skills. * Professional ethics and organizational values. * Community engagement and approved personal development initiatives. Participation in the holistic development programme forms an integral part of the internship and contributes to overall performance evaluation. --- ## 4. Performance Expectations The internship is structured as a high-performance programme for exceptionally motivated individuals. Interns are expected to: * Demonstrate exceptional technical competence and continuous learning. * Meet assigned milestones and project deadlines. * Produce high-quality engineering deliverables. * Participate actively in technical discussions and research activities. * Maintain professionalism, integrity, discipline, accountability, and ownership. * Collaborate effectively with mentors and fellow interns. * Continuously improve technical, analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Performance shall be assessed continuously through engineering reviews, technical assessments, code reviews, research presentations, project demonstrations, milestone evaluations, peer collaboration, and mentor feedback. --- ## 5. Performance-Based Stipend This is a paid, performance-based internship. EduRankAI recognizes and rewards exceptional talent. Interns who consistently demonstrate extraordinary technical capability, exceptional programming ability, engineering excellence, advanced mathematical aptitude, innovation, research contributions, leadership potential, and measurable organizational impact may be awarded a performance-based stipend of up to ?250,000 (INR Two Lakh Fifty Thousand) per month, subject to organizational evaluation, applicable policies, budgetary approval, and sustained performance. The stipend awarded to each intern shall be determined solely by EduRankAI based on merit and demonstrated contribution. The maximum stipend is reserved for a limited number of interns who consistently perform at an exceptional level throughout the programme. --- ## 6. Attendance & Commitment Interns are expected to maintain consistent participation throughout the internship. Repeated absenteeism, prolonged inactivity, failure to participate in assigned activities, repeated missed deadlines, or failure to maintain expected professional standards may result in disciplinary action, suspension, reduction or discontinuation of stipend (where applicable), or termination of the internship. --- ## 7. Confidentiality & Intellectual Property Interns may have access to confidential information, proprietary technologies, source code, datasets, research materials, technical documentation, business strategies, customer information, security systems, and other intellectual property belonging to EduRankAI. Accordingly, interns shall: * Maintain strict confidentiality throughout and after the internship. * Use organizational resources solely for authorized purposes. * Not disclose, copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, retain, or transmit confidential information without prior written authorization. * Protect all intellectual property, trade secrets, research outputs, software, datasets, algorithms, and documentation developed or accessed during the internship. All work products, inventions, software, research, documentation, models, algorithms, datasets, and intellectual property created during the internship in connection with organizational work shall remain the exclusive property of EduRankAI, unless otherwise agreed in writing. --- ## 8. Code of Conduct Interns are expected to maintain the highest standards of: * Professionalism. * Integrity. * Ethical conduct. * Respectful workplace behaviour. * Accountability. * Confidentiality. * Research ethics. * Information security. * Collaboration. * Compliance with organizational policies and applicable laws. --- ## 9. Immediate Revocation, Suspension & Termination EduRankAI maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards misconduct, unethical behaviour, security violations, and actions that compromise the organization's interests. The organization reserves the absolute right to immediately revoke the internship offer before commencement, suspend the internship, terminate the engagement without prior notice, withdraw stipend eligibility, withhold internship certification, revoke organizational access, and pursue appropriate legal or disciplinary action, if an intern is found to have engaged in, attempted, or is reasonably suspected of engaging in: * Breach of confidentiality or unauthorized disclosure of confidential information. * Unauthorized copying, downloading, sharing, retention, modification, or misuse of source code, research materials, datasets, documentation, credentials, or intellectual property. * Sabotage, malicious activity, cyberattacks, intentional disruption, or interference with organizational systems, infrastructure, products, or operations. * Fraud, forgery, plagiarism, fabrication, falsification of research, impersonation, or submission of false information. * Misrepresentation of qualifications, identity, experience, achievements, or eligibility. * Violation of organizational policies, security requirements, non-disclosure obligations, or applicable laws. * Harassment, discrimination, threats, violence, intimidation, or any conduct inconsistent with professional standards. * Persistent indiscipline, insubordination, poor conduct, or repeated failure to meet minimum performance expectations. * Unauthorized use of organizational assets, software, infrastructure, computing resources, or data. * Any act that damages or is likely to damage the reputation, credibility, operations, partners, employees, clients, research initiatives, or business interests of EduRankAI. * Any other material breach of these Terms of Engagement or any internship agreement. EduRankAI reserves the right to conduct internal investigations and take interim actions, including suspension of access to systems, facilities, and projects while investigations are ongoing. --- ## 10. Certification Interns who successfully complete the internship and satisfy all technical, research, behavioural, attendance, compliance, and organizational requirements shall be awarded an Internship Completion Certificate. The organization reserves the right to withhold certification where programme requirements have not been satisfactorily fulfilled or where disciplinary or compliance violations have occurred. --- ## 11. Employment Completion of this internship does not constitute or guarantee employment with EduRankAI. Any future internship extension, research appointment, fellowship, contractual engagement, or full-time employment shall be entirely at the discretion of EduRankAI and will be based on organizational requirements, role availability, business needs, demonstrated performance, technical excellence, professional conduct, and overall contribution during the internship.
