About the program EduRankAI invites applications for the position of Data Science Intern to join its Data Science and Artificial Intelligence team. This fulltime internship is designed for students and recent graduates who are passionate about Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Predictive Analytics, Statistical Modelling, Business Intelligence, and datadriven decisionmaking. As a Data Science Intern, you will contribute to transforming large volumes of platform data into actionable insights that improve learner engagement, predict user behaviour, optimize educational outcomes, identify churn patterns, and support strategic decisionmaking across EduRankAI's Artificial Intelligence, Education Technology, Research, Product Engineering, and Digital Innovation ecosystem. As a Data Science Intern, you will work closely with data scientists, AI researchers, software engineers, product managers, business analysts, and crossfunctional stakeholders on live business and research projects. Your responsibilities will include collecting, cleaning, transforming, and analysing structured and unstructured datasets exploring user behaviour and engagement trends building, validating, and improving predictive machine learning models performing statistical analysis and hypothesis testing engineering meaningful features evaluating model performance using appropriate metrics developing dashboards and interactive data visualizations preparing business reports and analytical presentations collaborating with product teams to define analytical questions documenting methodologies, assumptions, and experimental findings supporting AB testing initiatives maintaining reproducible analytical workflows and contributing to datadriven product improvements and AIpowered decisionsupport systems. Applicants should possess a strong understanding of Python or R programming, SQL, statistics, probability, linear algebra, data structures, and machine learning fundamentals. Familiarity with Pandas, NumPy, Scikitlearn, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, Jupyter Notebooks, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Power BI, Tableau, Git, Microsoft Excel, cloudbased analytics platforms, or business intelligence tools will be considered an advantage but is not mandatory. Knowledge of supervised and unsupervised learning, predictive modelling, classification, regression, clustering, recommendation systems, time series analysis, Natural Language Processing NLP, feature engineering, experiment design, model evaluation, or Generative AI concepts will also be beneficial. Candidates with academic projects, research work, hackathons, Kaggle competitions, opensource contributions, internships, or personal projects in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Analytics are strongly encouraged to apply. Throughout the internship, participants will receive structured mentorship, continuous technical guidance, code reviews, and exposure to industrystandard data science workflows. Interns will gain practical experience in exploratory data analysis, predictive modelling, machine learning pipelines, statistical analysis, data visualization, business intelligence, technical documentation, collaborative software development, research methodologies, and AIassisted product development while contributing directly to live data science and analytics initiatives. Interns will contribute to live Data Science and Artificial Intelligence projects while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, documentation standards, engineering best practices, research integrity, data governance principles, and project timelines. Participants will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, perform statistical analyses, develop predictive models, create analytical dashboards and visualizations, prepare technical documentation, participate in technical discussions, and support continuous improvements in AI-powered decision-making systems. Successful completion of the internship will be evaluated based on technical competency, analytical ability, model quality, documentation standards, collaboration, innovation, ownership, consistency, professionalism, and overall contribution throughout the internship.
