Automation / Quality Engineer

As an Automation / Quality Engineer with 58 years of experience, based in Gurugram (NCR region) and working in a hybrid model, your role involves: - Designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation test scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and REST Assured. - Developing and executing API automation test cases. - Creating and maintaining scalable automation frameworks. - Performing functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing. - Collaborating with developers, business analysts, and product teams to understand requirements and ensure quality deliverables. - Identifying, reporting, and tracking defects through resolution. - Integrating automation suites with CI/CD pipelines where applicable. - Ensuring adherence to QA best practices and coding standards. Qualifications Required: - 58 years of experience in Software Testing with a strong focus on Automation. - Strong programming skills in Java. - Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver. - Strong experience in REST Assured for API automation testing. - Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks. - Good understanding of API testing, functional testing, regression testing, and test automation best practices. - Familiarity with version control tools such as Git. - Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins or similar) is an added advantage. - Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. Additional Company Details (if present in JD): - Mandatory requirements include Airlines domain experience and a strong automation testing background. - Candidates with only manual testing experience or limited automation exposure will not be considered. - Willingness to work in a hybrid model (3 days/week from the client office in Gurugram). Preferred Skills: - Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Exposure to SQL and database validation. - Knowledge of performance or security testing is a plus.
