Quality Engineering Lead

Job Description Experience : 5-8 years Qualification : B.Tech or equivalent Key Responsibilities : Lead and contribute to both manual and automated testing efforts within an agile squad. Develop and execute test cases for both System Testing (ST) and System Integration Testing (SIT). Engage in test estimation, test case preparation, and execution for end-to-end, progression, and regression testing. Work closely with cross-functional teams and squads (e.g., developers, product owners) to ensure high-quality software delivery. Collaborate on test data management, environment setup, and configuration. Participate in sprint planning, review, and retrospectives in an Agile framework. Continuously improve testing processes and best practices. Skills & Experience : 5-8 years of experience in Software Quality Engineering. Strong hands-on experience with Automation Testing frameworks such as Selenium , BDD , Cucumber , and Appium . Good understanding of REST Assured for API testing (plus). Proficiency in Java for automation scripting. Solid experience working in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Familiarity with JIRA for tracking bugs and managing workflows. Knowledge of Confluence for documentation and collaboration. Retail banking domain knowledge is a plus. Desired Attributes : Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
