Job Description Splunk Engineer Required Experience 4+ years of hands-on experience with Splunk (overall IT experience may be higher) Strong experience in Splunk Administration and dashboard development Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Required Skills Splunk Enterprise Administration Splunk Dashboard Development Python PowerShell Regular Expressions (Regex) SQL Data Mining and Analysis Troubleshooting and Performance Optimization Preferred Skills US Health Plan / Healthcare domain experience Experience with complex data integrations and custom scripting Key Responsibilities Participate in dashboard requirement discussions with business stakeholders. Develop solution designs and implementation approaches based on business needs. Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to understand functional requirements and clarify specifications. Support the creation of functional breakdown structures and technical task planning. Provide effort estimates for assigned features and enhancements. Guide and mentor development team members on Splunk best practices. Design, develop, and implement Splunk dashboards, reports, and alerts. Configure and manage Splunk forwarders, integrations, and custom scripts. Conduct peer reviews and ensure adherence to coding and development standards. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives. Identify and implement performance improvements and optimization opportunities. Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge repositories. Support knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team.
