The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth functioning of mechanical equipment, minimizing downtime, maintaining safety standards, and supporting continuous production operations. Key Responsibilities Monitor and supervise plant operations during the assigned shift. Ensure efficient functioning of mechanical equipment and machinery. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities. Identify equipment issues and coordinate corrective maintenance to minimize downtime. Troubleshoot mechanical faults and implement effective solutions. Maintain shift logs, maintenance records, and operational reports. Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to ensure uninterrupted operations. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Monitor utility systems and equipment performance parameters. Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Support breakdown maintenance activities and emergency repairs as required. Ensure proper handover of operational status and pending issues between shifts. Required Skills Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and maintenance practices. Understanding of preventive and breakdown maintenance procedures. Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently. Good communication and coordination skills. Knowledge of workplace safety standards and regulations. Ability to work in rotational shifts. Educational Qualification Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or B.E. Mechanical Engineering.
