Role Overview: Evolute Group is a forward-thinking Indian technology conglomerate that believes in the impactful use of technology at scale. The company operates across multiple sectors including Fintech, Embedded Solutions, Electronic Manufacturing, and Industrial Electronics, focusing on engineering, innovation, and manufacturing excellence. As the AVP/VP Product & Technology Innovation, your role involves owning discovery, product strategy, and early-stage R&D for new solutions in biometric IAM, IoT/edge, and ESS, from concept to validated prototypes. You will drive IP and patent creation while shaping GTM narratives, handing over scaled execution to engineering and delivery teams. Key Responsibilities: - Define product vision and platform roadmaps for biometric IAM, IoT devices/platforms, and ESS solutions across various segments. - Identify high-value problems and use cases with business heads and key customers, translating them into product hypotheses and experiment backlogs. - Shape solution blueprints that extend embedded hardware strength into full solutions and platforms. - Deliver a targeted number of validated platform concepts taken to pilot per year. - Drive adoption of new platforms across customer deals, increasing the share of platform-led solutions vs bespoke hardware-only solutions. - Lead deep tech feasibility for new bets in AI/ML, biometrics, security, IoT/edge, and ESS controls. - Run structured PoCs and lab prototypes; define clear go/no-go criteria and success metrics before scaling. - Drive an IP pipeline around algorithms, architectures, and control schemes, coordinating invention disclosures, patentability checks, and filings. - Craft positioning, value propositions, and solution narratives for each platform in partnership with Marketing and Sales. - Define reference architectures, pricing logic, and deployment models for pilots and first-wave customers. - Support selected lighthouse deals with domain/solution expertise and proof-points from pilots; hand execution to engineering and delivery once patterns are validated. - Own the lifecycle from idea lab prototype to limited customer pilots; ensure designs are secure by design and manufacturable. - Run regular innovation/roadmap councils with key stakeholders to guide investment decisions. Qualification Required: - 10-15+ years in product, R&D, or platform roles in deep tech/embedded/IoT/ESS domains. - Strong exposure to BFSI/IAM/eGov and/or industrial/energy sectors. - Demonstrated IP orientation with patents filed/granted or platforms with defensible technical moats. - Strong systems thinking and stakeholder facilitation skills. - Comfort working in an MSME/startup environment.
