EY Consulting Automation TestingSenior The opportunity As an Automation Test Engineer you will be accountable & responsible to perform automation expediency suggest automation approaches build automation framework automate manual test cases maintain and execute regression tests ensuring all automation needs are properly met and aligned to the customer expectation. The role demands expertise on automation tools like Selenium Protractor. Candidate should have knowledge on TestNG and Cucumber BDD Frameworks to conduct automation testing on web and mobile applications. Should be expert in Java. Added advantage to have knowledge on Python/Javascript/Typescript Skills and attributes for success Framework Architecture development/enhancementDesign build and maintain test automation framework components and reusable librariesStrong experience in web application automation using Selenium WebDriver with TestNG and/or BDD frameworks/ PlaywrightSolid expertise in web services/API automation using REST Assured or equivalentsHandson experience in Guidewire automation using Guidewire Test (GT) or other leading automation frameworks (Playwright Selenium etc.)Strong understanding of Guidewiredesignated functions and automation coverage criteria for cloud upgradesProven experience in Cloud Migration and Greenfield implementationsDeep expertise across multiple P&C Lines of Business with strong focus on Auto and PropertyExperience in endtoend execution of Guidewire Cloud programs including: InceptionBuildStabilizationUAT and RolloutGuidewire Certification is mandatoryDesign and implement automation strategies tailored for Guidewire implementationsLead automation framework design and implementationDefine automation standards procedures and best practices and estimatedPerform test execution with reports and maintain the scriptOrganize and monitor the defect management processCoordinate closely with testing and development teams to resolve issues efficientlyEngage with clientside stakeholders to communicate progress risks and statusDemonstrated ability to lead distributed teams across geographiesActively contribute to automation training and upskilling initiatives within the organizationMentor team members on automation tools frameworks and Guidewire best practices To qualify for the role you must have BE/BTech/MCA/5-10 years of automation consulting experience across multiple platforms and varied domainsAt least 5 years of experience in any of the automation tools is a must Selenium UFT Protractor Ideally youll also have Hands on experience in developing frameworks on selenium frameworks like TestNG Cucumber Appium Rest AssuredCreated QA Strategy and automation approach from scratch Articulates value ROI of automation to clients.
