As a Manager AXIS Modeling Life Actuarial at EY Global Delivery Services (GDS), you will play a crucial role in delivering AXIS modeling solutions to leading clients in the Insurance Sector. Your responsibilities will include leading a diverse and collaborative team, working in a high-performing culture, and collaborating with industry professionals globally. You will work closely with senior managers/directors to support large-scale engagements, develop client relationships, and ensure the team's success in delivering high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement solutions within the Insurance service line, collaborating with other service lines - Provide high-quality results and effective solutions on engagements - Apply problem-solving skills to new and complex situations - Ensure all engagements are delivered within time and quality standards - Establish/manage priorities, create work plans, and communicate status of activities - Maintain strong stakeholder focus and productive working relationships - Communicate analysis results to actuaries in various geographical regions - Review work done by junior members to ensure quality during time-sensitive deadlines Qualifications Required: - 8 to 15 years of actuarial experience with 6 years of AXIS modeling experience - Good understanding of US/Canada product lines and regulations - Project management experience with the ability to handle teams and multiple stakeholders - Advanced modeling experience in AXIS software - Strong presentation and documentation skills - Proficiency in MS-Office Suite, Power BI, VBA, SAS, R Programming, Python, SQL, SPSS, etc. - Qualified or Part/nearly Qualified Actuary with experience in the Life Insurance industry - Ability to multi-task, flexible work attitude, and good analytical skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Experience in handling a moderate-sized team will be an advantage About EY: EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) is a dynamic and truly global network that offers fulfilling career opportunities across various business sectors.
