D&T Analyst I & Cyber Security, Incident Response

Role Overview: As a D&T Analyst I in the Cyber Security Incident Response team at General Mills India Centre in Mumbai, you will be responsible for monitoring and investigating security events on a 24x7 basis. Your proactive approach will be instrumental in solving complex investigations and analyzing malware using various tools. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor SIEM and other tools for potential threats, intrusions, or compromises - Work in a 24x7 facility in rotating shifts - Utilize Security Incident & Event Management (SIEM) system and SOAR Technologies effectively - Investigate and contain threats such as malware, phishing, and other intrusions - Demonstrate a good understanding of networking fundamentals, protocols, and Cyber Security principles - Analyze malware in a sandbox environment to comprehend its impact - Achieve containment time SLA defined by the organization - Review investigations conducted by peers and escalate cybersecurity events as per the Cybersecurity Incident Response Plan - Continuously improve detection rules, participate in incident retrospectives, and share incident trend reports with other teams - Maintain quality by performing peer review of events, participating in process streamlining projects, and making timely and high-quality decisions - Collaborate across different functional verticals to create innovative solutions Qualification Required: - Full-time graduation from an accredited university - 4 to 6 years of related work experience - Knowledge in SIEM, networking protocols, and Cyber principles - Good communication skills Additional Company Details: General Mills India Centre is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join the Cyber Security team.
