Role Overview: As a member of the Google Play team, you will be part of a highly visible group that is responsible for building, automating, and visualizing release processes and diagnostic tools across Play. Your main responsibilities will include working closely with TPMs, SWEs, and SREs to design scalable and uniform build and release infrastructure. You will troubleshoot failures in the build and release infrastructure, implement solutions to ensure reliability, and identify areas for improvement and automation. Additionally, you will provide release engineering support to various teams within Play. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with TPMs, SWEs, and SREs to design scalable and uniform build and release infrastructure - Troubleshoot failures in the build and release infrastructure and implement solutions to ensure reliability - Identify areas for improvement and automation in the release infrastructure - Provide release engineering support for various teams within Play Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience - 2 years of experience with development languages such as Python, Go, Java, or C++ - 2 years of experience in Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Deployment (CD) source management - Experience in release processes and troubleshooting - Experience with Software Development Lifecycle (Note: Preferred qualifications and additional company details were not included in the provided job description.)
