Position : Network Engineer
Job Duties :
Manage and oversee the administration and maintenance of computer networks, including hardware, systems software, applications software and all configurations. Diagnose and resolve systems problems. Weekly firewall implementation, performing upgrades on switches and routers. Responsible for configuring Cisco routers, switches and firewalls across the environment. Monitor network performance and provide guidance on troubleshooting customer network problems. Configure network switches to send traffic to packet switches for monitoring traffic. Perform change management to meet stage outage policies. Work with software and tools such as, Wireshark, nGenius One, and Cisco. Travel/relocate to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. for long and short term assignments at client sites. Multiple Positions Available.

Position : Network Engineer
Job Duties :
Install and configure Cisco Catalyst switches 6500, 3750 and 3550 series and configure routing protocols OSPF, EIGRP, BGP with Access Control lists and implementing as per Network Design Document by following the change process as per IT policy. Perform LAN, WAN development including IP address planning, designing, installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance. Provide technical support to LAN and WAN systems. Implement and design Cisco Nexus Data Center Infrastructure with 7020, 5020, 2248 and 2232 series switches. Provide hardware and software engineering support to operate a broad range of routing and switching for Cisco-Nexus. Troubleshoot network issues primarily from OSI layers 1, 2, 3 standpoints. Implement Switching Technology Administration including creating and managing VLANS’s, Port security, Trunking, STP, Inter VLAN routing. Maintain Cisco Switches and Routers including 4900M, 4507R and WS-C6503-E along with Nexus 7K, 5K and 2k switches. Implement with Cisco Layer 3 switches 3750, 4500, 6500 in multi VLAN environment with the use of inter-VLAN routing, HSRP, ISL trunk, ether channel. Troubleshoot Cisco 2900, 3900, 6500, 7500, 7200 Series routers. Work with Cisco Nexus 2148 Fabric Extender and Nexus 5500 series to provide a Flexible Access Solution for datacenter access architecture. Working with BGP, OSPF protocols in MPLS Cloud. Perform network monitoring, providing analysis using tools such as WireShark, Solarwinds and packet capturing, troubleshooting on network problems with these tools for identifying and fixing problems. Responsible for procurement and installation of Hardware, Network Drives and IT infrastructure appliances including Switches, Firewalls, Routers, Servers, Span aggregators. Implement Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) as a solution for data centers using a Spine and Leaf architecture. Implement necessary changes such as adding, moving and changing Network devices as per the requirements of business lines in a data center environment. Manage Change Requests (CRs); Service Requests (SRs) and Incidents using BMC Remedy Ticketing Tool. Create and update Proper Diagrams and Documentations for processes and procedures based on the changes that take place in the network environment.
