Job Duties :

Performs moderately to complex test data conditioning, functional testing, end to end testing, Regression testing and batch testing validations. Logs, tracks and verifies the resolution of software specifications defects and validates the logs through Paydirt/Splunk servers. Create detail documentation of the systems QA Life cycle, test data, SDLC documents including Test Sizing, Test Plan, Traceability matrix, test scripts and test cases documents and final test results summary document for Agile Projects. Involved in all the show stopper and critical issues for different applications through manual as well as automation scripts. Works with all project stake holders and developers from inception to implementation of the project. Implements technical validation with skills related to UNIX,JAVA,ORACLE,PL/SQL and Mainframe systems and Tools used are SQL Developer, Putty, WinSCP, CA Workload Automation (Autosys), Hogan, ALM, Clear Quest, Jira and Eclipse for Online Payments Systems team for Zelle Project and as well as for regression.

Position : Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Duties :

Organize and execute acceptance testing of any off-the-shelf packages that are implemented. Ensure that all custom software developed by IT is thoroughly tested and defect free before being placed into Production. Develop test automation scripts for new features added to the business application and adding those scripts to automation suite. Developing automated test plan, test scenarios and test cases and executing them on the automation tool-Silk Web driver. Develop and execute test plans for software projects, including task breakdown, resource requirements, timeline and appropriate testing strategy. Communicate clearly lo the development team so that they are aware of all software defects or usability issues. Identify and escalate those issues that cannot be resolved by IT staff to the IT Development Manager for proper resolution. Ensure that appropriate tools are available to carry out testing activities. Help to establish and maintain documentation standards for testing. Maintain familiarity and understanding of IT development, testing and production architecture and environment. Create automated test scripts and utilize test automation for initial and regression testing. Maintain all regression suites so that they are up-to-date and fully functional.Determines production readiness of all custom and packaged software. Using TFS version control for check in and check out code on daily basis. For send code for further review with development teams and Quality assurance teams. As per the review comments updating the code. Using Jira for Bug tracking and issue. Fix existing code to remove errors in code and to fix bugs. Attend bug triage meetings. Check-in new code to TFS. After execution of appropriate test strategies, accept or reject software deliveries turned over by developers. Ensure that all testing plans are completed on schedule.

Job Duties :

Follow and promote Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes in the department. Actively look for opportunities to enhance standards and improve process efficiency. Mentor and guide other team members during all phases of the SDLC. Ensure adequate test coverage System Testing/Integration and Regression Testing Participate in test strategy, test estimation and planning discussions Maintain understanding of current and new testing technologies Lead Lessons Learned or Project Review sessions, and identify potential work process improvement Write scripting using languages like JavaScript and other languages like Ruby as required to support the automation activities, automate the API’s to perform ordered execution and parallel execution as required.Use tools Postman/SOAPUI, JMeter to develop test automation of webservices (RESTful/Soap) API’s), verifying URI endpoints and validating response JSON/XML data. Utilize Newman command tool to execute the automated test suite.Use Selenium web driver with Java or any other programming language coding and testing frameworks like JUNIT/TestNG to automate web applications, prioritize the test case execution. Utilize Eclipse IDE to develop the automation code.Checking in (committing) the tests built to GIT repository Extensively use GIT version control and Stash Repository Measure the Performance/Load of applications by using tools like Apache JMeter/LoadRunner, developing VUScripts using VUGen component in LoadRunner.

Enhance the scripts by adding valid checkpoints, transactions and other rendezvous points in LoadRunner, configure some run time settings to run the tests.Develop test scripts and use ServiceNow project management tool to execute the test cases and maintain defect statuses, generate reports for analysis.Perform risk assessments and prioritize the tasks while also identifying the performance issues.

Review project test and implementation schedules. Monitor, document, and report the current status of projects. Participate in review of project deliverables.Perform heavy RESTful Services automation testing from backend perspective with a lot of integration points and interfaces.Strong validation of authorization tokens and using the OAuth tokens in separate API calls while automating the API flow.Write scripting using languages like Ruby or other languages like JavaScript as required to support the automation activities of API or Restful calls.Perform extensive backend work with different agencies while having good understanding of Service Architecture and Hybrid/Native applications/Responsive websites.Use Selenium web driver with Java coding and testing frameworks like JUNIT/TestNG to automate web applications, use Selenium Grid to perform the remote execution.Use JMeter to perform the concurrency regulation. Define the parameters for number of VUsers, concurrent threads and scheduled execution.Setup build system and support continuous integration utilizing tools like Maven/Jenkins and version control system like GIT.Work with Mobile automation utilizing the IDE’s like XCode and Android Studio.Develop test plans, test scripts and define the scope of each test activity. Manage the overall test activity using tools like Service Now. Working on business web applications using client-server architecture with Angular 5, Node JS, Java, UI/UX Technologies.Actively participate in all aspects of the Agile process to include story pointing, attending elaboration sessions and creating acceptance criteria.Ensure timely and accurate communication with Development Leads, Project Manager and Senior Management throughout the life cycle of the project.

Manage defect resolution process and support outside testing environments such as Testing Services.
