Position : Sr. Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Duties :
Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability. Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers. Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen or content. Participate in the Requirement review meetings with Business Analysts to understand the business requirements and come up with Estimations for the Testing Effort. Test planning, test documentation, test execution, defect tracking and reporting, including follow-up and issue resolution. Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures. Create, execute and monitor the Automation Test scripts in Java using the Automation Framework. Perform REST API calls to test the workflows on the forms. Prepare and Execute SQL queries to perform Database Testing. Perform Integration Testing with the Downstream Consumers. Perform Manual Test Execution where necessary. Participate in Kick-off Meetings with the Development Team to understand and discuss the scope of changes to be tested. Provide the Status on the Test execution progress on a daily basis highlighting the risks, challenges, outstanding defects to the Technical Team. Test system modifications to prepare for implementation. Monitor bug Resolution and track successes. Use JIRA for Requirement details, Test Execution and Defect Tracking. Prepare Test Summary Reports which details the Test Scope covered, Test Approach used, Test Execution performed, Defects raised, Risks if any, for every Production Release.

Education : Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science or another closely related field.

Recommendations. Work closely with the business clients to understand requirements for new development as well as updates to current system functionality and bug fixes. Gathering requirements to recommend improvements to the business client that will help maintain system standards or standard web application design practices. Leading the QA learn in the creation of acceptance criteria and test plans using the requirements. Understand normalized database structure and create complex SQL select statements to assist the QA team in finding, understanding, and verifying data. Train the QA team in writing SQL select statements, answer SQL questions during testing, and review the validity of SQL tests performed by the QA team. Approach business clients to create test data to complete test plans. Responsible for the final validation of development work in the Production environment and will be the key point-person for testing critical fixes for Production issues. Identify critical issues and clearly communicate. the status of QA items to the QA team and Management, Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and business clients to determine if issues identified during the QA process are valid and within the scope of the development request.

Position : Sr Quality Assurance Analyst
Job Duties :
Under limited supervision, lead QA team that develops and executes complex testing plans; coordinate and oversee STLC; serve as SME; assist project manager with adherence to budget and schedule; gather and analyze business requirements, write data requirements and develop test plan/coverage, cases and scenarios; liaise between IT and business teams on testing status and activities; implement QA methodologies; create and stage test data; conduct test scenarios and test case walkthrough with IT project team and business team; develop scripts to automate tests; plan test schedules; coordinate functional system integration, regression and security testing; conduct and monitor performance and load tests; produce ETL data for mapping rules to test graphs; create SQL queries for data creation and integrity; assist team to log, review and analyze defects, perform analysis, determine required changes and forward results to development team; coordinate retesting and regression testing after the defects are resolved to prepare for implementation; mentor/assist and train less experienced team members; and use Unix, Windows, Oracle, SOA, SQL Developer, Informatica, SQL, RQM, HP ALM, HP Performance Center, Java, C++, JUnit, Ruby Watir, Mainframe, COBOL, IBM TSOA, Atlassian JIRA, selenium Webdriver-Cucumber, Jenkins, Maven, POM, Git, SOAPUL and related tools.
