Position : Sr. Data Warehouse Analyst

Job Duties :

Under limited supervision, design, model and implement large, complex data warehousing structures and activities using advanced theoretical knowledge; provide expertise during development lifecycle; meet with users, SMEs and application teams to gather and interpret business requirements; develop detailed description of user needs, and develop technical and functional specifications; develop architectural diagrams and data warehouse process models, including sourcing and ETL; provide ETL technical specification document to developers, including business metadata document; verify structure, accuracy and quality of data; map data between source systems, data warehouses and data marts; develop and implement data extraction procedures; design and build complex, comprehensive and sustainable data warehouse that will optimize data access, support research and facilitate flexible and interactive reporting capabilities; write programs and ETL code; integrate data from various sources into data staging area and target data warehouse; create test plans, strategies, files and scripts for integration and unit testing; coordinate testing of systems and applications; resolve issues in production and coordinate troubleshooting support; assist less experienced team members with the above; and use: Unix, Windows, SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, Business Objects, MDM, Informatica, SSMS, TOAD, Erwin, Visio, T-SQL, PL/SQL, UNIX Shell Scripting, Java, File Aid, Autosys and related tools.

Minimum Qualifications Education

• Master degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);

• Experience : Two (2) years of experience as a Data Warehousing Specialist, Software Developer, Database Administrator or in a related occupation;

• Other Requirements:

• Experience must include two (2) years of work with Oracle, Informatica, MDM, Unix, Erwin; must be willing to relocate.
