Sr. Systems Administrator

Position : Sr. Systems Administrator

Job Duties :

Under limited supervision, install, configure, maintain and support clients’ moderately complex IT systems; gather requirements from business users and perform requirements analysis; design, configure and test computer hardware, and network and operating system software; install and administer web servers; build and deploy code on application servers or cluster in modes; administer and support Java-based applications deployed in middleware platforms; plan, coordinate and implement network security measures to protect data, software and hardware; maintain and document changes made to infrastructure in lower environments and promote changes to higher production environments; automate routine tasks; perform startup/shutdown procedures and maintain control records; set up disaster recovery center; troubleshoot issues in Dev, QA, UAT and Prod environments; and use: Windows, UNIX, Solaris, SQL Server, Oracle, Weblogic, Tomcat, WAS, Apache, Jenkins, AWS, SSL, NIS, DNS, TCP/IP, SQL, Python, .Net, UNIX shell scripting, Bash, Java, JavaScript, HTML, XML, C/C++ and related tools.

Minimum Qualifications Education

  • Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Engineering and Technology Management or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);

  • Experience : One (1) year of experience as a Network and Computer Systems Administrator, Network Architect, Systems Analyst or in a related occupation;

  • Other Requirements:

  • Experience must include one (1) year of work with Unix, Oracle and .Net; must be willing to relocate.
