Senior AI Platform Engineer Job Type: Full-Time/Contract/Freelancing Location: PAN India (100% Remote) Shift Timings: 2:00 PM 11:00 PM IST Experience: 8–18 Years Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days (Maximum) Number of roles: 2(With Big4 and without Big4) About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior AI Platform Engineer to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade AI applications powered by Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). The ideal candidate will have strong Python engineering expertise and hands-on experience building scalable, secure, and production-ready AI platforms. This role requires developing AI solutions for SOX, ITGC, Internal Audit, and Control Testing use cases, enabling intelligent automation of compliance and audit processes. Key Responsibilities Design and develop enterprise AI applications using Python and modern AI frameworks. Build scalable REST APIs using FastAPI or equivalent Python frameworks. Develop and deploy production-grade LLM and Generative AI applications. Design and implement Agentic AI workflows using frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, or AutoGen. Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using vector databases and embedding models. Develop AI applications for SOX, ITGC, Internal Audit, and Control Testing automation. Build document intelligence solutions capable of processing Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PDF, and OOXML documents. Implement OCR and document extraction pipelines for structured and unstructured content. Develop AI evaluation frameworks, regression testing, contract testing, and automated validation pipelines. Deploy secure AI solutions on Azure (preferred) or equivalent cloud platforms. Implement RBAC, secrets management, logging, monitoring, and secure deployment practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable AI platforms following engineering best practices. Mandatory Skills Programming Python (6+ years) as the primary programming language FastAPI (2+ years) or equivalent modern Python API framework AI & Generative AI 3+ years of enterprise LLM / Generative AI experience Hands-on experience building production AI applications Agentic AI / AI Agents (minimum 1 year; 2+ years preferred) RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) – 2+ years AI Engineering Production-grade REST API development AI application testing and evaluation CI/CD for AI applications Regression and contract testing Cloud & Security Azure (preferred) or equivalent cloud platform RBAC Secrets Management Logging & Monitoring Secure cloud deployment Frameworks & Technologies Pydantic React TypeScript Document Intelligence OCR Document Intelligence Table Extraction Excel Word PowerPoint PDF OOXML DevOps & Engineering Git Documentation Refactoring AI-assisted engineering practices Domain Experience (Mandatory) Candidates should have experience developing AI solutions for: SOX Compliance IT General Controls (ITGC) Internal Audit Control Testing Preferred Experience Experience working with a Big4 consulting firm (Deloitte, EY, PwC, KPMG) or a similar consulting organization. Experience with Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, AutoGen, vector databases, and enterprise AI governance. Experience deploying production AI applications at enterprise scale. Candidate Drop Criteria Please do not consider candidates if: Overall experience is less than 8 years. Python is not the primary programming language. Less than 3 years of enterprise LLM/Generative AI experience. No hands-on Agentic AI experience. No RAG implementation experience. AI experience is limited to chatbots, prompt engineering, hackathons, POCs, or personal projects. No experience building production-grade APIs. No experience building production AI applications. No experience in SOX, ITGC, Internal Audit, or Control Testing AI solutions. Preferred Candidate Profile 8–12 years of overall software engineering experience. Strong Python backend engineering expertise. Proven experience delivering enterprise AI platforms in production. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced consulting environment.
