Sr .NET API Integration Contractor - Dayforce & JD Edwards|6M |Remote

Role: Senior .NET API Integration Contractor Job Type:- 6 months Contract Shift:- US shift (08:30 pm to 05:30 am IST) Job mode:- Remote Overview We are looking for a contractor to design, build, and support a new API integration between Dayforce and JD Edwards. This work will focus on HR master data and change transactions only. The integration will run every 15 minutes during business hours and will require strong ownership from design through delivery. Key Responsibilities: Design and build a new .NET 10 API integration between Dayforce and JD Edwards Handle HR master data synchronization and change processing Develop secure API authentication and connectivity based on vendor provided login details Build scheduling and processing logic for recurring daytime execution every 15 minutes Create logging, monitoring, error handling, retry handling, and production support processes Work directly with internal business and technical teams, along with external partner teams, to gather requirements and complete delivery Support testing, deployment, go live, and early production stabilization Required experience Strong hands on experience with C# and modern .NET, preferably .NET 8 or newer Proven experience building REST APIs and enterprise integrations Experience owning development work as a solo individual contributor Experience with recurring or scheduled integration jobs Strong troubleshooting skills and production support mindset Ability to communicate clearly with business stakeholders and external technical teams Experience with SQL Server or similar relational databases Preferred experience Experience integrating HR, payroll, ERP, or other business systems Experience with Dayforce, JD Edwards, or similar platforms Experience with logging, monitoring, retry logic, duplicate prevention, and data validation in integration workloads Experience in greenfield integration development
