Automation Test Engineer Location:Trivandrum Experience:4 ' 10 years Reporting to:Test Manager About the Role IBS Software is looking for experienced Automation Testing professionalswho are passionate about building scalable, reliable, and high-quality test automation solutions. In this role, you will drive automation strategy, develop robust frameworks, and ensure flawless delivery across complex enterprise systems. Key Responsibilities - Design and develop automation test scripts using Seleniumand TestNG. - Define and implement automation frameworks aligned with project goals. - Identify and prioritize test cases suitable for automation. - Execute automated test suites and analyse results to ensure product quality. - Develop and maintain Web Services and API automationusing SOAP UIor similar tools. - Integrate automation test suites with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven, ANT). - Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to improve test coverage and efficiency. - Conduct feasibility studies and proof-of-concepts for new automation tools and approaches. - Prepare and present automation execution reports, highlighting key findings and recommendations. - Continuously maintain and enhance automation frameworks for scalability and reusability. Required Skills: - 4'10 years of experiencein Selenium Automation with Java. - Expertise in TestNGand Automation Framework design, maintenance, and optimization. - Robust hands-on experience in SOAP UIand API automation. - Good knowledge of Jenkins, Maven, or ANTfor CI/CD integration. - Understanding of DevOps workflowsand continuous testing practices. - Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills. - Experience in effort estimation and contributing to test planning. Nice to Have - Exposure to Agile/Scrumenvironments. - Working knowledge of DevOps toolsand cloud-based testing setups. - Prior onshore experienceor direct customer engagement.
