About the role
As an Oracle CPQ Architect, your role will involve leading the design, implementation, and optimization of Oracle Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) Cloud solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive end-to-end CPQ projects. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading the architecture, design, and implementation of Oracle CPQ Cloud solutions - Driving the delivery of CPQ projects, including configurator and commerce modules - Translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions - Developing and customizing solutions using BML, BMQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and XML - Designing and maintaining CPQ data models, rules, and configurations - Managing Commerce layouts, custom CSS, and pricing/quoting rules - Collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams to deliver solutions - Providing technical leadership, mentoring team members, and resolving complex issues - Handling integrations with CRM/ERP systems such as Salesforce, Oracle Sales Cloud (OSC), EBS, JDE, and other third-party applications - Working with web services technologies including REST, SOAP, WSDL, and XSL The qualifications required for this role are: - 10+ years of overall IT experience with a focus on Oracle CPQ - Expertise in Oracle CPQ Cloud architecture and implementation - Hands-on experience with BML and BMQL - Strong understanding of Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) processes - Experience in Configuration and Administration of Oracle CPQ Cloud - Proficiency in Commerce, Configurator, and pricing rule development - Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, system integrations, and APIs - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills - Ability to manage stakeholders and explain technical concepts in business terms Preferred qualifications include a minimum of 2 end-to-end Oracle CPQ implementations, Oracle CPQ Certified Implementation Specialist (preferred), experience in leading teams, and exposure to enterprise architecture and scalable solution design. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and flexibility to work extended hours up to 11:30 PM IST.
