Automation Lead

As an Automation Lead at our company, you will be a key player in driving test automation initiatives and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable test automation frameworks using Python and Pytest. - Integrating testing frameworks with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins and GitLab CI. - Developing and maintaining test libraries, reusable components, and best practices for test automation. - Leading and mentoring a team of automation engineers, providing guidance, conducting code reviews, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. - Participating in test planning and execution across all phases of testing, analyzing test results, and working closely with development teams to resolve defects. - Advocating for quality assurance best practices, driving continuous improvement in testing processes, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. - Demonstrating strong proficiency in Python and the Pytest framework, along with experience in API testing, UI testing, and other relevant methodologies. - Utilizing testing tools like Selenium, Appium (optional), and version control systems like Git. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 7-10 years of experience in software testing, with at least 5 years of experience in test automation. - Strong proficiency in Python and the Pytest framework. - Experience in leading and mentoring a team of software engineers. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. - Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. - Experience with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
