Manager - Power BI Work Mode: Work From Office (WFO) Experience: 10+ Years Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Industry: IT Services / Analytics / Data & Business Intelligence Job Summary: - We are looking for an experienced and highly driven Manager - Power BI to lead enterprise-wide Business Intelligence and Data Visualization initiatives. - The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, SQL, data modeling, and analytics leadership with the ability to manage large-scale reporting ecosystems and mentor high-performing BI teams. - The candidate will play a critical role in transforming complex business data into meaningful insights, driving data-driven decision-making, and building scalable reporting and analytics solutions aligned with business objectives. - This role requires a combination of strong technical expertise, stakeholder management, strategic thinking, and leadership capabilities. Role: Leadership & Team Management: - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Power BI Developers, Data Analysts, and BI Engineers - Drive team performance, capability building, and technical excellence - Define BI development standards, governance frameworks, and best practices - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, engineering, product, and leadership stakeholders - Manage project delivery timelines, resource allocation, and reporting priorities - Conduct code reviews, performance reviews, and technical mentoring sessions Power BI Development & Analytics: - Design, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards, reports, and enterprise analytics solutions using Power BI - Build scalable semantic models, datasets, and reusable reporting frameworks - Create advanced DAX calculations, KPIs, measures, and business logic - Optimize dashboard and report performance for large-scale datasets - Develop drill-through reports, dynamic visualizations, and self-service BI capabilities - Implement row-level security (RLS), workspace management, and governance policies - Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting solutions Data Modeling & Engineering: - Design robust data models using star schema and dimensional modeling techniques - Work closely with Data Engineering teams to integrate multiple data sources - Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and ETL workflows - Understand and support enterprise data warehousing and analytics architecture - Collaborate on data pipeline and transformation initiatives - Ensure reporting scalability, performance optimization, and maintainability Business & Stakeholder Collaboration: - Engage with business stakeholders to gather reporting and analytics requirements - Translate business needs into technical BI solutions and actionable insights - Define and track business KPIs, operational metrics, and performance indicators - Present insights, trends, and recommendations to leadership teams - Drive adoption of data-driven decision-making across the organization Governance, Security & Compliance: - Ensure implementation of BI governance and security best practices - Manage data access controls, compliance requirements, and reporting standards - Support audit, compliance, and enterprise data governance initiatives - Monitor and maintain reporting environments and production support processes Required Technical Skills: Strong hands-on expertise in: - Power BI Desktop - Power BI Service - DAX - Power Query (M) - SQL - Strong experience in data modeling and dashboard optimization - Expertise in building enterprise-scale reporting and analytics solutions Strong understanding of: - Data Warehousing - ETL Processes - Relational Databases - Data Transformation - Experience with performance tuning for large datasets - Familiarity with BI architecture, governance, and security models , Hands-on experience with report deployment, workspace management, and gateway configuration Preferred Skills: - Experience with Tableau or other BI/Visualization tools - Exposure to Azure Data Services or modern cloud data platforms - Experience working with enterprise analytics ecosystems - Knowledge of Python or advanced analytics is an added advantage - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies Soft Skills: - Strong leadership and team management capabilities - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Strategic thinking and business acumen - Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously Eligibility Criteria: Experience: 10+ Years Leadership Experience: 3+ Years managing BI/Analytics teams Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Data Manager -
