Onsite Job: Environmental Stress Screening Test Technician Location: Austin, TX | Shift: Fri-Sun, 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM | Schedule: 3/12

About the Role

Join Indotronix as an Environmental Stress Screening Test Technician and play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of advanced electronic components. This onsite position offers hands-on involvement with state-of-the-art testing systems, a supportive team-based environment, and a clear path for professional advancement. Start with a comprehensive training and certification program on a Mon-Thurs schedule before transitioning to your primary Fri-Sun shift.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate vibration systems and thermal cycling equipment to conduct environmental tests on electronic production components and subassemblies

  • Utilize monitoring and control equipment including temperature sensors, thermocouples, data loggers, accelerometer systems, pressure and air flow instruments, and advanced test instrumentation

  • Execute standard test methods and engineering procedures under minimal supervision, supporting both Engineering and Production groups

  • Compile and process detailed product data, create comprehensive data packages, record quality information, and document defects

  • Maintain accurate test logbooks with all pertinent information

  • Support higher-level technicians with complex test operations and perform additional assigned duties as needed

  • Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience with Unholtz Dickie or similar vibration systems, specifically supporting engineering qualification efforts

  • Proficient in vibration profile development and operation of Thermotron temperature chambers

  • Strong foundation in using electronic test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, and logic analyzers

  • Basic computer skills in MS Windows environment

  • Self-starter with the ability to excel independently and as part of a team

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience

  • Preferred Skills

  • Hands-on experience with RF testing
