Job Description

Seeking an experienced Equipment Manager to support supplier management and FAA certification activities for a rapid prototype aerospace program. This role will oversee supplier schedules, technical drawing reviews, qualification testing, conformity activities, and supplier test execution. Experience with mission computing systems is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Manage technical supplier activities and schedules

Review and approve technical drawings and qualification deliverables

Support FAA certification and conformity efforts

Oversee qualification test planning and execution with suppliers

Coordinate with engineering, quality, and program teams

Monitor supplier performance and resolve technical issues

Support rapid prototype development activities

Required Skills

Supplier management experience

FAA certification and qualification testing knowledge

Strong technical documentation review skills

Excellent communication and coordination skills

Ability to work in fast-paced engineering environments

Preferred Skills

Experience with mission computing systems

Aerospace or defense industry experience

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or related technical field

10–15 years of related experience

5+ years of qualification testing experience

U.S. Person required for export compliance

Education / Experience

Bachelor's degree with 14+ years of experience, Master's with 12+ years, or PhD with 9+ years of related experience in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.
