About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Review supplier technical data for system integration and regulatory compliance

  • Develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements with customers and suppliers

  • Create and maintain processes, specifications, and procedures for design, qualification, certification, and manufacturing

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting to airlines and modification sites

  • Collaborate closely with a diverse group of engineers to deliver innovative solutions

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize design efficiency

  • Conduct technical reviews of supplier capabilities for source selection

  • Support fielded hardware and software through the full product lifecycle

  • Research and assess new technology applications for business needs

  • Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or relevant non-US equivalent

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience (Master’s degree with 3+ years or PhD with experience also considered)

  • Proven experience with verification, validation, certification, and qualification processes (DO-160, DO-178, DO-254, D6)

  • Detailed knowledge of FAA and EASA certification regulations and compliance

  • Proficient in documenting, testing, and troubleshooting electrical components and line-replaceable units

  • Skilled at evaluating and documenting test or analysis data against regulatory and company requirements

  • Expertise in engineering drawings and specifications interpretation

  • Strong engineering judgment and decision-making capabilities
