About the role
[About the Role] Join a cutting-edge engineering team as a System Integration/Test Engineer on 1st Shift in Orlando, FL. You will play a vital part in the integration, testing, and validation of advanced Electro-Optic sensor solutions for military platforms. This role offers hands-on involvement with both in-house and COTS/GOTS technology, fostering your expertise in real-world, high-impact projects.
[Responsibilities]
- Plan, implement, and maintain integration and testing solutions for both hardware and software system components
- Translate customer and contractual requirements into actionable system test strategies while considering technical, schedule, and cost factors
- Establish and document functional and technical specifications and standards for system integration
- Solve hardware/software interface challenges and define precise input/output parameters
- Develop, direct, and execute comprehensive test plans, schedules, and procedures for complete systems or subsystems
- Coordinate testing activities across subsystems, programs, and partner organizations
- Analyze test results and compile detailed evaluation reports to verify and validate system performance
- Write discrepancy reports and perform regression testing to ensure successful software and hardware fixes
[Required Skills and Experience]
- 4-6 years experience in software development using C, C++, LabView
- 4-6 years experience in production environments
- 6+ years experience in test equipment design, electronic testing, and mechanical testing
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
- Safety shoes required on-site
[Preferred Skills]
- Hands-on experience with LabView/LabWindows CVI, NI platforms in both development and maintenance roles
- Automated Test Equipment (ATE) HW integration, including switches, VXI/PXI chassis, EO testing, and automation
- Experience developing and maintaining automated test equipment in high-volume production settings
- Specialized experience with Electro-Optic sensor solutions for military applications
