[About the Role] Join our dynamic team in Orlando, FL as a Systems Integration/Test Engineer (1st Shift), where you will play a crucial role in developing, integrating, and testing cutting-edge Electro-Optic sensor solutions for military platforms. This hands-on position offers a collaborative environment, opportunities for skill advancement, and the chance to work with advanced test equipment and technologies.

[Responsibilities]

  • Plan, implement, test, document, and maintain integration solutions for in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, subsystems, and systems
  • Translate customer requirements into comprehensive system test strategies, factoring in technical, schedule, and cost constraints
  • Define functional and technical specifications, solve hardware/software interface challenges, and ensure seamless system integration
  • Develop, direct, and execute detailed test plans, procedures, and schedules for system and subsystem validation
  • Coordinate testing activities across programs and organizational teams
  • Analyze test results, prepare detailed evaluation reports, and verify system performance
  • Write discrepancy reports and perform integration regression testing to validate software and hardware fixes

[Required Skills and Experience]

  • 4–6 years in software development with proficiency in C, C++, and LabView
  • 4–6 years in production environments
  • 6+ years in test equipment design
  • 6+ years in electronic testing
  • 6+ years in mechanical testing
  • Strong experience with system-level integration and validation in technical domains

[Preferred Skills]

  • Expertise in LabView/LabWindows CVI, NI toolsets for both development and maintenance
  • Advanced skills in C, C++, and automated test equipment hardware integration (switches, VXI/PXI chassis, EO testing, automation)
  • Automated test equipment development and maintenance experience in high-volume production settings
