About the role
[About the Role] Join our Engineering team in Orlando, FL as a System Integration/Test Engineer, focusing on cutting-edge Electro-Optic sensor solutions for military platforms. This 1st shift position offers a dynamic production environment where you'll play a critical role in integrating, testing, and validating advanced hardware and software systems.
[Responsibilities]
- Develop, implement, and maintain integration and testing solutions for in-house and COTS/GOTS components, subsystems, and systems.
- Synthesize customer requirements into practical system test solutions within technical, schedule, and budget constraints.
- Establish and document functional and technical specifications and standards.
- Resolve hardware/software interface issues and define input/output parameters for seamless system integration.
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for complete systems and subsystems.
- Coordinate subsystem and system testing activities with cross-functional teams and external organizations.
- Analyze test results, prepare detailed evaluation reports, and verify system performance.
- Write discrepancy reports and conduct regression testing to validate fixes and enhancements.
[Required Skills and Experience]
- 4–6 years of software development experience in C, C++, and LabView.
- 4–6 years in production environments.
- Over 6 years designing test equipment.
- Over 6 years in electronic testing.
- Over 6 years in mechanical testing.
- Safety shoes required on-site.
[Preferred Skills]
- Advanced LabView/LabWindows CVI and NI platform experience.
- Proficiency in automated test equipment hardware integration, including switches, VXI/PXI chassis, EO testing, and automation.
- Automated test equipment development and maintenance in high-volume production.
- Background in Electro-Optic sensor solutions for defense applications.
