Job Summary: Engineering – Systems Integration/Test Engineer (1st Shift) | Orlando, FL
[About the Role] Join a dynamic engineering team as a Systems Integration/Test Engineer, specializing in the development, integration, and validation of cutting-edge Electro-Optic sensor solutions for military platforms. This hands-on, first-shift position offers the chance to combine your expertise in software, hardware, and test equipment design within a high-impact, production-driven environment. Safety shoes required for on-site work.
[Responsibilities]
- Plan, implement, and maintain integration and testing solutions for in-house and COTS/GOTS systems and subsystems
- Translate customer and contractual requirements into effective system test strategies within schedule and cost constraints
- Develop, review, and document functional and technical specifications and standards
- Solve hardware and software interface challenges, including defining input/output parameters
- Prepare, execute, and direct comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for systems/subsystems
- Coordinate testing activities with cross-functional teams and programs
- Analyze and report on test results, validating system and subsystem performance
- Write discrepancy reports and perform integration regression testing to verify fixes
[Required Skills and Experience]
- 4–6 years in software development (C, C++, LabView preferred)
- 4–6 years in production environments
- 6+ years designing test equipment
- 6+ years electronic testing experience
- 6+ years mechanical testing experience
[Preferred Skills]
- LabView/LabWindows CVI and National Instruments (NI) experience in development and maintenance for complex systems
- Proficient in C, C++ with expertise in Automated Test Equipment (ATE) hardware integration (switches, VXI/PXI chassis, EO testing, automation)
- Automated Test Equipment development/maintenance in high-volume production settings
- Experience with Electro-Optic sensor solutions for military platforms
