Lead End User Network Engineer (Cisco ISE / Aruba) — Wayne, PA or Charlotte, NC | 40% Remote | 6-Month Contract-to-Hire
About the Role
Join a high-impact team as a Lead End User Network Engineer, supporting one of the largest commercial clients on the East Coast and nationwide. In this hybrid role, you'll leverage your campus networking and authentication expertise to manage, troubleshoot, and optimize end-user network environments. This is a contract-to-permanent opportunity with significant career growth potential.
Responsibilities

Deliver Tier 3 operational support for campus networking, including wired, wireless, and authentication technologies across multiple sites.

Resolve complex end-user network incidents efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Act as escalation point for Cisco wired switching, Cisco ISE/ICE (802.1X authentication), Aruba wireless, and ClearPass authentication issues.

Collaborate closely with Engineering teams during transitions to guarantee seamless monitoring, alerting, and NOC readiness.

Mentor and educate S1 and S2 analysts on campus and wireless troubleshooting best practices.

Participate in major incident calls, providing leadership and technical expertise for end-user connectivity challenges.

Required Skills and Experience

Strong background in campus networking.

Proven expertise with Aruba wireless technologies.

Hands-on experience supporting complex authentication environments (ISE/ICE/ClearPass).

Advanced troubleshooting skills for wired and wireless network incidents.

Solid communication abilities with operational situational awareness.

Eligible to work on a W-2 basis; authorized to work without sponsorship.

Preferred Skills

Cisco wired networking skills considered highly transferable.

Prior experience in Tier 3 network support for large-scale enterprise environments.
