About the Role

Join Corteva’s innovative Seed organization as a Data Scientist, supporting sales enablement and data-driven decision-making for agricultural manufacturing. Reporting initially to Greg, you’ll partner with cross-functional teams to deliver applied analytics and predictive modeling solutions directly tied to impactful agricultural use cases. This junior to mid-level position is ideal for those with strong technical fundamentals who are eager to grow in a dynamic, business-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and validate predictive models to forecast demand and optimize business decisions.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate organizational needs into actionable data science projects.

• Analyze complex datasets to uncover insights that drive sales strategies and operational improvements.

• Present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Continuously improve modeling approaches and ensure robust, reliable analytics solutions.

• Support project verification and documentation for data-driven initiatives.

• Required Skills and Experience

• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and machine learning.

• Solid command of machine learning fundamentals, including effective problem framing.

• Proven experience applying statistical and mathematical techniques to real-world business scenarios.

• Strong communication abilities with the skill to clarify technical concepts.

• Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Databricks platform.

• Background in engineering with modeling, math, or statistics expertise.

• Experience in applied agriculture or manufacturing analytics.
