Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Java-based Selenium frameworks Perform end-to-end functional testing, including test planning, execution, defect tracking, and validation Translate business and technical requirements into comprehensive test scenarios and test cases Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to ensure quality assurance throughout the SDLC Conduct data validation and backend testing using SQL queries Identify, log, and track defects using tools such as Jira and ALM, ensuring timely resolution Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, Retrospectives) and contribute to continuous improvement Support testing activities across distributed systems, with exposure to mainframe environments as applicable Required Qualifications 6–8 years of overall testing experience, including 5+ years in automation testing using Java and Selenium Strong proficiency in functional testing methodologies and best practices Hands-on experience with SQL for data validation Experience working in Agile environments with tools such as Jira and ALM Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a global offshore delivery model with cross-functional stakeholders Preferred Qualifications Experience testing within distributed or mainframe-based environments Familiarity with test automation frameworks design and optimization Exposure to enterprise-scale systems and regulated environments
