About the role
[About the Role] Join a leading engineering team in Orlando, FL as a Circuit Design Engineer, where you’ll architect, capture, and lay out advanced power distribution circuit cards for high-impact programs. As a core contributor, you’ll work cross-functionally to accelerate design cycles and own the process from concept through Design Assurance. This hybrid role requires on-site presence three days a week, giving you the opportunity to collaborate closely, innovate, and grow with industry experts.
[Responsibilities]
- Lead architecture, schematic capture, and EPCAD layout for advanced circuit card assemblies
- Drive development and optimization of power distribution circuit cards
- Define, refine, and document system, performance, interface, and environmental requirements
- Conduct trade studies to evaluate design alternatives and recommend optimal solutions
- Capture schematics and collaborate with EPCAD team for precise layout and signal routing
- Own end-to-end circuit card designs and prepare all documentation for Design Assurance reviews
- Coordinate with systems, electromechanical, programmable logic/software, and manufacturing teams for integration and testing
- Generate and maintain architecture diagrams, requirements packages, and trade study reports
- Manage bill of materials, part sourcing, and prototype build activities
- Verify design compliance with shock, vibration, and environmental qualification standards
[Required Skills and Experience]
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years’ professional experience in circuit card design, integration, and test for power electronics
- Extensive experience developing and refining system, performance, interface, and environmental requirements
- Proficient in Siemens Xpedition Enterprise (or equivalent) for schematic capture
- Strong record managing bill of materials and prototype builds

- Familiarity with MFC Design Assurance process
