[About the Role] Join our innovative R&D team as an FPGA Design/Verification Engineer in Sunnyvale, CA. You'll drive cutting-edge ASIC and FPGA development, collaborating with top engineers to build advanced digital signal processing, high-speed digital, and communication systems. [Responsibilities]
- Lead the design, simulation, verification, and integration of complex high-speed FPGA and ASIC products
- Develop and implement digital signal processing (DSP), high-speed digital design, and system-on-chip (SoC) functions for FPGA platforms
- Create and automate scripts to optimize FPGA development workflows and reduce costs
- Collaborate with Systems Architects, RF/Analog, Digital Circuit designers, and fellow FPGA engineers on multi-disciplinary projects
- Integrate COTS-based control platforms and embedded processors into FPGA systems
- Provide mentorship, support, and technical guidance to junior engineers
- Specialize in FPGA verification with expertise in UVM methodology
[Required Skills and Experience]
- 15 years of experience in FPGA/ASIC design and verification
- Deep knowledge of DSP, high-speed digital, and communication designs
- Strong background in system-on-chip (SoC) implementation on FPGA platforms
- Proven expertise with FPGA verification, especially UVM
- Experience integrating COTS control platforms and embedded processors
[Preferred Skills]
- Automation scripting for FPGA workflows
- Experience with cross-discipline engineering teams
- Proficiency in high-speed networking concepts
