As a Specialist, Systems Engineering, you will play a vital role in system architecture, design, and integration, ensuring technical success throughout the full systems life cycle. Responsibilities

Lead the creation of technical documents including test procedures, reports, architectural drawings, specifications, and implementation instructions

Execute formal verification, qualification, and validation testing to ensure system performance

Guide small teams to deliver tasks on time and within budget
-
Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and customers
-
Contribute to system development activities: requirements analysis, architecture and design, system integration, and fielding support
-
Perform requirements analysis using industry tools like DOORS, UML, and SysML
-
Assist with technical planning, risk and cost analysis, system integration, and milestone reviews
-
Maintain adherence to standards compliance across projects

Required Skills and Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics (or equivalent technical discipline)

Minimum 4 years’ relevant systems engineering experience

U.S. Citizenship and active DoD Secret clearance required
-
Hands-on experience in SEIT and product development best practices
-
Familiarity with integrated product teams
-
Strong technical verbal and written communication skills
-
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio)

Preferred Skills
-
Experience in military/defense contracting environments
-
Proficiency with DOORS requirements management
-
AGILE development methods background
-
Integration and Test experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and data acquisition systems
-
Knowledge of IGBT, MOSFET, or power conversion technologies
-
Experience with high power supplies (>10,000 W)
-
Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) expertise
