About the role
As a Design Engineer (AEC/Engineering Services) at our company, your role will involve bridging the gap between conceptual architectural design and technical structural engineering. You will be responsible for ensuring that complex design projects are executed with high precision and in accordance with international drafting and engineering standards. Your key responsibilities will include: - Client Alignment: Deeply understand client technical specifications and ensure all CAD outputs and engineering designs align perfectly with specified expectations. - Technical Drafting & Design: Develop detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and 3D models that translate design intent into actionable construction or manufacturing documents. - Interdisciplinary Coordination: Coordinate effectively with internal design teams and across various engineering departments to facilitate seamless project integration and clash detection. - Timeline Management: Adhere strictly to predefined delivery timelines and ensure the timely completion of all design phases. - Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and maintain daily MIS reports, project-specific technical documentation, and accurate timesheets. - Progress Monitoring: Continuously monitor the design lifecycle, tracking revisions and maintaining meticulous version control documentation. - Quality Assurance: Uphold rigorous quality standards, ensuring all CAD deliverables meet or exceed customer specifications and internal QA/QC protocols. - Error Mitigation: Apply a high level of technical scrutiny to ensure zero-error delivery of final drawing sets to clients. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BE Civil). - Strong knowledge of international building codes, construction, and architectural standards. - Proficient in AutoCAD, AutoCAD 3D. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with accuracy.
