About the role
As a Senior Project Configuration & Change Manager, your role involves leading the Configuration and Change Management (CCM) activities within the Project/Program. You are expected to adhere to the highest standards of ethical conduct and apply Configuration and Change standard procedures, instructions, templates, etc. You will ensure that team members do not bypass these procedures. Additionally, you will represent the CCM Mtier in project and site meetings, perform REX for CCM, and lead improvements in CCM activities within your Program/Project and the CCM Mtier. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure that activities and Roles & Responsibilities defined in the Configuration Management Plan (CMP) are applied and followed - Evaluate and provide or approve compliance statements on all CCM related requirements - Conduct CCM audits and DfQ Gates for CCM deliverables - Manage a team of Configuration and Change Managers when applicable - Perform configuration management activities such as identification, management, and accuracy of items under configuration control - Prepare Configuration Strategy and release notes for Configuration Baselines - Establish the Configuration Status Accounting Report (CSAR) and monitor its compliance - Ensure Supplier Configuration Management including CCM requirement negotiation and documentation Qualifications Required: - Mandatory knowledge of railway products, railway solutions, systems, and components - Knowledge of CCM tools such as ALM, Clear Quest, Clear Case SAP, PLM, AEC-tp PLM, etc. - Ability to communicate effectively with all project/program stakeholders - Fluent in English and German language skills - Systematic, rigorous, proactive, and organized with good attention to details - Strong leadership skills and the ability to coordinate a team of professionals engaged in specific tasks related to CCM - Preferably trained to a recognized Configuration and Change Management standard Additionally, you should possess strong multi-tasking and influencing skills, good knowledge of Microsoft Office, and demonstrate comprehensive communication and negotiation skills. You are expected to contribute to continuous improvement in processes and standards for CCM and create a positive environment for your team colleagues.
