Senior Software Engineer in Test

As a Senior Software Engineer in Test at ISS STOXX, you will be an integral part of the Quality Assurance Team, collaborating with various cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services to clients. Here is what you can expect from this role: Role Overview: Reporting to the Test Manager, you will work on all stages of the software development lifecycle, focusing on Functional / Manual Testing, API Testing and Validation, Coordination & Collaboration, Non-Functional Testing, Mentorship and Team Leadership. Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for Manual / Functional Testing, including reviewing requirements, creating, executing, and documenting test cases. - Plan, design, and document various test suites for applications, and implement accurate test results in a timely manner. - Perform API sanity checks and validations using tools like Postman, work with various API endpoints, and ensure seamless data flow. - Collaborate with Product Management and Development teams, review product release artifacts, and coordinate deployments for QA environments. - Assist in test case writing for automation suite, execution of automated test suite, and manage other forms of testing like Security Testing and Performance Testing. - Mentor and lead a team of QA Engineers, provide technical support, and continuously improve testing operations. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in computer science or related discipline required. Masters Degree preferred. - 8 to 11 years of overall experience in Functional & Non-Functional testing required. - Hands-on scripting (automation) or coding experience in Java or an OOPL preferred. - Experience with Defect Tracking system, preferably JIRA, and proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language. - Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and excellent communication skills.
