About the role
Senior Technical Engineer Role Overview We are looking for a Senior Technical Engineer / Technical Lead with strong hands-on experience in Python-based backend development and cloud-native application delivery. The role involves building scalable enterprise applications, working across distributed systems, and collaborating closely with US-based stakeholders (Phoenix timezone overlap is mandatory). You will be part of a core engineering team working across Cloud, Data, Integrations, and API-driven systems. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python Work on microservices-based architecture and distributed systems Build and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS / Azure / GCP Collaborate with cross-functional global teams including US stakeholders Participate in system design, code reviews, and architecture discussions Ensure high-quality delivery through testing, debugging, and production support Work across backend, integrations, and data layers of applications Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Required Skills 7+ years of hands-on experience in backend development Strong proficiency in Python (Django / Flask / FastAPI) Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture Strong understanding of system design and object-oriented design Hands-on experience with AWS / Azure / GCP Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases Exposure to Docker and containerized deployments Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work with distributed/global teams Good to Have Exposure to TypeScript or frontend frameworks (Angular/React) Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) Basic knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS / AKS) Exposure to event-driven architecture or messaging systems Experience with GenAI / LLM / AI-based applications Additional Requirement Mandatory overlap with US (Phoenix) working hours Strong collaboration with global stakeholders is required
