About the role
Job Summary As a Senior SAP BTP Developer , you will play a key role in designing and delivering scalable, high-quality solutions within our global SAP S/4HANA landscape. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, ensuring performance, maintainability, and alignment with enterprise architecture standards. Qualifications Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred). Minimum 3+ years of experience in SAP S/4HANA development. Hands-on experience with RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) , including frontend (Fiori Elements/SAPUI5) and backend development. Experience working with OData services and APIs . Experience with Adobe Forms . Strong understanding of designing scalable and resilient systems, including performance optimization and code review practices. Experience in Object-Oriented Programming . Preferred Skills Willingness to learn and work on SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) . Basic understanding of Clean Core principles . Familiarity with Agile methodologies . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience working in multicultural and diverse environments. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and investigative capabilities. Key Responsibilities System Architecture: Collaborate with solution architects to define integration architecture and ensure seamless compatibility across systems. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with SAP Workstream Leaders to deliver custom functionalities within SAP environments. Issue Resolution: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve integration-related issues during implementation and post go-live support. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation (RICEFW objects) to support future reference and audit requirements. Key Challenges Operating in a global, multicultural environment across multiple time zones. Managing change while ensuring business continuity. Evaluating functional limitations and aligning solutions with overall architecture. Accurately assessing and validating effort estimates.
